Very Important Poll
Ok, ya'll, I need your help. The new Harry Potter book comes out midnight Friday - I haven't pre-ordered a copy but I still can. Now, the way I figure it is all the kiddies will be at the parties the bookstores are having. Wal-Mart stays open 24 hours and they will certainly be getting it in. So. Do I go out to the supercenter at midnight to fetch a copy so I can delve in immediately, or just pre-order and wait anxiously for UPS on Saturday?

That was the point of Wal-Mart.. most of the kids will be at the chain bookstores.

Do you think you'll be wanting to read it Friday night? Otherwise, pre-order.
I personally enjoy seeing other people out and about, so I would go out and get one at midnight...or find a book shop that has a coffee shop, get some coffee and share the anticipation with other fans!
LL, that is what I was thinking last night. I think I would like to go over to Barnes and Noble, get some coffee and watch the young'uns - how can you not be excited about kids reading again? Maybe I'll even dress up! And yeah, I do want to read it Friday night.... thanks for all the input!
